D&AD is a globally recognised benchmark of creative excellence. In 2024, I was honoured to join its panel of 100 judges for the New Blood Awards—an industry-launching platform for emerging talent. Alongside five fellow judges, I reviewed over 1,000 submissions responding to an Airbnb brief. We awarded six rising designers the coveted D&AD Pencil—an international symbol of exceptional creative thinking. My involvement with D&AD began as a student designer. Now, as a judge and mentor to three of this year’s winners, I’m proud to help shape the next generation of design leaders.
