Bites of Brixton is a self-initiated passion project celebrating my love of my home.

‍Born from a desire to spotlight local gems and resist the tide of change in the neighbourhood, with the influx of chains resulting in the closure of small businesses, Bites of Brixton was my way of uplifting the independent spots that make the neighbourhood iconic.

Home to David Bowie and London's Afro-Caribbean culture, Brixton is a hub for creativity which draws in people globally.

I created the project by photographing over 100 independent restaurants in Brixton and creating an Instragram and follow up web directory, for visitors and community members alike to show their support to local businesses.

As I travel the world, I take delight in film photography—a medium that allows me to capture the unfiltered reality and beauty of each destination.

Every frame reflects a moment of stillness, a story preserved exactly as it was seen, untouched and timeless.

D&AD is a globally recognised benchmark of creative excellence. In 2024, I was honoured to join its panel of 100 judges for the New Blood Awards—an industry-launching platform for emerging talent.

Alongside five fellow judges, I reviewed over 1,000 submissions responding to an Airbnb brief. We awarded six rising designers the coveted D&AD Pencil—an international symbol of exceptional creative thinking.

My involvement with D&AD began as a student designer. Now, as a judge and mentor to three of this year’s winners, I’m proud to help shape the next generation of design leaders.
